Once upon a time, on the magical Sunshine Coast, a little princess, Kayla Rose, grew up by the ocean with a heart full of song, dance, and imagination. Singing before talking and dancing before walking, her love for performing was evident from the very beginning.

As her fairytale unfolded, she explored the many wonders of Queensland, making her way all the way down to the Gold Coast! On her venture, she studied Acting for Film, worked at Movie World, and discovered the joy of bringing stories to life on stage. While her journey allowed her to spread her wings, her heart always longed for her family, community, and her beachside home. Returning to the Sunshine Coast marked the beginning of a brand-new chapter, one filled with purpose, creativity, and magic.

Blending a lifelong love for performing, fashion, and storytelling, Spellbound Entertainment was born. Our mission is simple: to bring fairytales to life through immersive, in-character experiences that create unforgettable moments for children and adults alike. From birthday parties and special celebrations to corporate events and even digital offerings, we are proud to say we can spread our sparkle far and wide.

Founded by our once princess, now fairy godmother, Kayla Rose, Spellbound is built on a strong philosophy of quality over quantity. Every single costume of ours is handmade by Kayla and her incredibly talented grandmother, lovingly sewn with care, precision, and attention to detail. Each character is thoughtfully crafted to be as accurate as possible, and every performance is delivered with professionalism and passion. From learning to sew, side-by-side with her grandmother to mastering the art of wig styling from scratch all on her own, Kayla ensures every detail is worthy of a true princess. 

With extensive experience working with children, aged care, and disability support, Kayla understands that no two guests are ever the same. Every interaction is approached with inclusivity and attention to individual needs, because magic looks different for everyone!
